Lavallette, New Jersey Boho Coastal Wedding

So after years of taking a break from photography, mainly due to working full time as a teacher and having my two beautiful daughters, a sign from the universe said it was time to make my return. Let me tell you, these days, the world feels heavy, uncertain, and sometimes scary. But when I was given an opportunity to shoot this minimony, it felt like a spark of hope I haven’t had in a long time. Julie & Bryan are what I would call “just really, really good people.” They are incredibly kind, with a deep love for each other and those around them that it was truly a joy and and honor to be the one who was able to document their special day.

The evening was covered in a honey haze of warm, cashmere sun that felt straight out of a Sophia Coppola film. Julie wore a gorgeous BHLDN dress accompanied by a personalized denim jacket and wide-brimmed hat. Cheers for the couple could be heard from every balcony, passerby, and beach goer, stopping in awe of their beauty and wishing them the best. It reminded me that humanity, goodness, and love prevail a l w a y s. That no matter what is happening around us, we all stop and admire a beautiful bride on her wedding day, and wish the couple years of joy.
