Intimate Fall Elopement in the Hudson Valley, NY

Fall in the Hudson Valley, New York is truly special, and the perfect time of year to plan to have your intimate elopement. The foliage get a chance to flex its vibrance, and it feels like a big sigh of relief after the hot summer months. Inness, Accord’s sprawling rustic-minimalist resort, showcases all the beauty the Hudson Valley has to offer with stunning views and design that compliments its natural beauty, especially in October.

Kate and Trevor knew they wanted to have an intimate ceremony, have their son present, and keep it laid back. They stored their marriage license in a record sleeve from one of the artists Trevor manages from his indie record label, Fire Talk Records, wrote their own heartfelt vows, and had their son be their ring bearer. The couple chose Cragsmoor Stone Church, a historic church built in 1895 out of the stone in the mountain it sits on top of. With a stunning view of the valley, the outdoor ceremony space was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. I felt so honored to be able to document such a special chapter in their lives. Together, they all three rang the church’s 900 pound bell that could be heard throughout the valley to celebrate their union.
